Configure a Dreambox 500S Clone from A to Z in pictures

Here is an image tutorial on setting up a Dreambox 500S Clone decoder with a Gemini 4.70 Maxvar CCcam 2.1.4 image.

1) Connect your dreambox to the internet

1- Turned on your Dreambox made Menu > Settings > Expert configuration > communication setting and note the IP address of your Dreambox.

2) Activation de CCcam 2.1.4 :

With the blue button on the remote control you access the blue Panel which allows you to activate the softcams and many other things.

Once on the blue panel made right or left so that instead of Common interface it is marked CCcam 2.1.4, then ok.

Voila CCcam 2.1.4 is activated.

3) Editing the CCcam.cfg file:

1- Open DCC and fill in the fields as shown in the image.

Name: root
Passw: Dreambox

2- Click on FTP tab.

3- open the /var folder then /etc and look for the CCcam.cfg file, right click, edit.

If the file does not exist, create a text file and rename it to CCcam.cfg then insert it into the /etc folder.

4- Paste your Cline at the end of CCcam.cfg and save.

Disregard the lines that begin with the sign (#) are examples of configuration provided with CCcam.

4) List of channels:

Now you need to inject into the Dreambox an up-to-date list of channels with favorites to avoid having to sort through thousands of channels.

5) The CCcam.prio file:

1- Download the CCcam.prio on the forum

2- With DCC open the /var then /etc folder of your Dreambox

3- Transfer the CCcam.prio to the /etc folder of your Dreambox.

At this point everything should work
