As a reminder of Telnet access under Windows XP:
1. Call up the command line with Windows key + R and “cmd”,
2. Run “telnet #dreambox-ip#”,
3. Login as “root” with password “password”.
For access under Windows 7 or Windows 8 you need an additional tool that establishes the Telnet connection (or the SSH connection) to the Dreambox: eg putty.
